Front Brake Design
I don’t know about your Trike but I found the front brake needs attention as well, apart from the front wheel spindle the only other attachments that locates the front brake is the calliper attachment bracket. I found that irrespective of how tight I tightened the front wheel spindle nuts, you could, with the front brake on and by rocking the Trike backwards and forwards make the calliper bracket rock backwards and forwards as well. Apart from this being an MOT failure I thought it was dangerous. So my fix for this is to drill a hole and bolt the calliper attachment bracket to the part that fits between the wheel spindle and the fixed fork bottom end. The added bonus with this is that it does not all fall apart when you remove the front wheel for maintenance.
